Exhibitors / Sponsors

We wish to invite you to consider sponsorship of and participation in the Appalachian Addiction & Prescription Drug Abuse Conference: Pain & Addiction, Best Practices & Proper Prescribing scheduled for October 28 & 29, 2021 as a Virtual Conference Event. Last year we had over 300 attendees.

We wish to invite you to consider sponsorship of and participation in the Virtual Appalachian Addiction & Prescription Drug Abuse Conference. The virtual conference will be held October 28 & 29, 2021. LIMITED TO 20 EXHIBITORS

We have once again partnered with VFairs for a tremendous experience utilizing a virtual conference platform. We are particularly excited about the EXHIBITOR OPPORTUNITIES associated with our virtual event. Each sponsor/exhibitor will have:

  1. A “virtual booth” which can list your documents, videos and other content such as “about us”, products, services, information, etc.
Visitors will be able to chat/video chat with your representatives from booth chat rooms; which includes group chat, as well as, private chat capabilities. Within private chat; the system will allow for text, voice and video chat options.
  2. An added enhanced feature allows visitors to add documents and videos in a “Virtual bag/Swag bag”. Visitors can subsequently email the information they gather direct from your booth to their email address.
  3. Exhibitors will receive a link – entering through an “Exhibitor Portal” with step by step instructions to setup and customize your booth, including color scheme, graphics/banners, handouts, etc. We will be available to guide you in this endeavor should you have any questions or difficulties.
  4. Established timeframes will be provided in which your representative will need to be available at your booth for “visitors” during the live virtual event. We do plan to have a couple of hours each day announced to our attendees of your definite availability.

Booth setups need to be completed by October 20th; however, can continue to make changes and add info for your booth after this date. We will need your LOGO as soon as possible for inclusion in the virtual environment.

West Virginia law requires all physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, advanced registered nurse practitioners, dentists, etc. who prescribe/dispense controlled substances to complete a continuing education program approved by their respective licensing board. This conference has been developed specifically in cooperation with the West Virginia Board of Medicine and West Virginia Board of Osteopathic Medicine to meet the 3-hour CME requirement for all physicians, physician assistants and podiatrists. ~16 hours of CME/CEs for multiple disciplines.

Please complete, sign & return the enclosed Exhibit & Support Application/Contract as soon as possible to reserve your space/support level. If you have any questions please contact Marlene Hall, Administrator at (304) 933-1030 or email, mdhall@wvmphp.org.
